unfair mod

    I want to complain about insect overlord's modding of

    He infracts me for being incivil to no way josie but she had been uncivil to me at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=78236855&postcount=516

    She says why should i not run for election etc. That was a genuine comment I made to the person who disagreed with the council's way of doing thing.
    She says I was abrupt. Wrong. She infers i am offended by other posters. Wrong again. She says i was snotty cos i disagreed with others. wrong again and she back seat mods tellng me log off if i do not like it.

    But insect overlord did not infract that. he took sides and he had an issue with my one word replies and so is not objective. he did not infract josie till she was rude to me twice and sheascribed motives to me bordering on inaccurate telpathy. In fact sh e thanks me for one of the one word posts and then insults me because of them?

    EDIT not sure what prefix and have to choose one

    I'll look into this, as it's the weekend I'd ask you to be patient.

    Region is the required prefix but I'm sure a passing Admin will fix it if required.

    You should report any post you have a problem with it and leave it to the moderators to deal with.

    You were infracted for being uncivil. Not that it concerns your dispute but the user you refer to was infracted for a post subsequent to yours. I see no favoritism whatsoever. If you wish to dispute your infraction further then please go ahead here. If you want to discuss the moderation of the forum then the helpdesk is the place for you.

    Thanks i want to dispute it here. i submit josie should have been infracted for this http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=78236855&postcount=516 which was the one i was responding to. i accept my infraction but she was uncivil here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showp...&postcount=516 and was not dealt with until the post after my response

    can you let me know if you are a cmod and if not where do i contact them and or admin if not happy with response

    I am one of the relevant CMods, Black Swan being the other. If you accept your infraction, which you've done above we're done with this specific dispute. The DRP caters for discussion of your own bans/infractions, not that of others. Neither is it for discussion of moderation or moderation policy.

    You're welcome to start a thread on the helpdesk to discuss other aspects of moderation. You should drop the moderator a PM and discuss it privately first though.

    DRP is for the resolution of infractions and bans. Given that Departed has opened a Help thread to discuss moderation, and has clearly stated here that "I accept my infraction," I agree with Mr Magnolia that this DRP has been completed.

    Would the Administration please close this DRP and mark it resolved?
