help transit fan belt.

    hi i borowed a friends 01 rwd ford transit to do a wee job today.

    but when i got to where i was going i noticed no power stering.

    then no brakes.

    so u look into the engine and i noticed no fan belt.

    so left the van there got a lift home.

    wasnt travling far.

    on the road i noticed the belt liying in the road.

    it was in tact in perfect condition.

    what am woundering is what happend, and is it an esey fix.

    good thing i have a understanding friend.

    have to get it fixed tomorow.

    think theres a problem with the pully sometimes, its a handy fix ,new pulley and new belt

    Yeah I would imagine its a pully gone also belts just don't come for no reason
