  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,389 ✭✭✭Thanos

Well my first call to drop Rooney over RVP is a fail :(
Now got to hope that Tevez (c) who I brought in for him gets at least 2 goals also.

    Same as that.
I'm gone now in my money league.
Was 20 points behind coming into this week and he outscored me yest by 25 points then he had rooney today.
I'm so far ahead of third though that I can't be caught.
Season over now for me. In top 40 of boards league but couldn't be bothered trying to stay there now. Hanging up the boots so to speak until next season.

If Tevez doesn't score a hatrick and clean sheet for City my season is over in both my main leagues.

And Jelevic is giving me a headache too bring him in for the DGW or not

Heavily dependent on Aguero producing to have a decent week.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

On a lousy 35 points with only captain Aguero to play. Senderos and Mignolet sitting on the bench with 15 points aint good

Can't see any games or commentary, but have just seen the results.

Great captain choice again with Rooney, but devastated that Jelavic scored 2. He's been my DGW striker choice for the past month, and now everyone is going to have him because of his goals today and Ade's injury. :(

Same here. Everton have ruined the day. Was hoping to enjoy Wolves getting relegated, now I can't.

Liverpool with their typical clinical finishing. 12 shots 0 goals

God, taking out Rooney was a disaster of a move

Man I swear to god if we got someone like Huntelaar he'd get 50 goals a season. The amount of chances we're creating is unreal

29 with only capt Tevez left on the pitch! My season is officially over! FFS....

might go mad and take a 12 point hit next week and bring a heap of doublers in just to see how high i can score! :P

seems a safe bet to bench skrtel every week for me
    not next week though

Threw away 10 points this week. Was happy enough with my front 3 of RvP, Rooney (pen) and Cisse. Then on Saturday morning the knee jerked and out went Shrek and in came Tevez as my captain. Thought RvP would get back in the swing of things but he was worse than awful. Then today just confounds it, Silva gets one point and Tevez barely scrapes an assist. I have Bogdan on Tuesday, fingers crossed Villa are as hideous as they have been recently.

Turned out to be not the worst week. 47 pts pre bonus, and 3 players left to play in the Villa-Bolton game on Tue

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

pretty lousy week. 32. bonii for Capt Aguero would lift that a bit. Albrighton and Boggie left to play. meh

Glad to see you edited from your original post man, cause the tone of it was way off and very condescending.

Can you please just block me or something? The holier than thou "I'm here to keep an eye on things and point out tones I don't like" attitude is getting tiring. Your post is entirely unnecessary and unrelated to the game, and only acts as a potential argument starter. *You're* the one with a problem.

I said Ade was over-rated and I was looking forward to benefiting from people picking him because they still think he's a good footballer. That paragraph, while typed on a touchscreen phone, was riddled with grammatical errors, so I just removed it instead of going to the trouble of fixing it. It had nothing to do with the "tone". The tone was neutral, and the point was actually quite boring. I was stating my unhappiness at Ade's injury and how a lot will now choose Jelavic because of it.

    Y'know... on-topic stuff.

You can agree or disagree with the point about Ade, and discuss it for the next month straight if you like. You're entitled to it. But this whole "I don't the way you post" nonsense is getting out of hand. Don't like it? Don't read it. There's a block/ignore button very handy for you to use.
