Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I just downloaded the TV English Premium app for the iPad. To be honest it's fab, but I want to know is it too good to be true. It allows me access to Sky movies channels in HD, now I cancelled my Sky movies package months ago due to the expense, and this app doesn't ask for your sky account details or anything! How are they getting away with this? The app also has all the UK channels and their +1's aswell as some US channels. Anyone else using this, and realistically do you think it may end up being removed from the app store? Hope not cos for 79c it's quite a bit cheaper than what I was paying sky!

    Looks to be about 60

A lot of articles have sprung up on the web about this app, seems to be a lot of people asking what the catch is, getting rave reviews! I'd say it's only a matter of time before its pulled! It must be illegal surely or against broadcasting regs? I freakin love it though!

    dont waste money on it!

the few channels that do stream stop after 10 or 20 seconds and uk free channels dont work at all (i'd say there coming from the tvcatchup service that blocks non uk ip's).

Someone has just gathered a few streams online and made an app out of it.

Here's hoping it still works after Apple remove it from the app store, and they will!

  • Registered Users Posts: 53 ✭✭jpt1980

There's just a promo video running on the sky channels
    now

It's working fine for me and it is definitely live as I've checked it against the schedule and my own tv!

Will have to keep an eye on it methinks, what's the old saying, 'if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is'! I am a bit concerned now though and my elation is fading fast, hope to god its not a scam!

Just read on twitter that, apparently, the creator was just streaming his FuTuBox account(Whatever that is) and he has been cut off, and therefore app is useless.

I would completely agree with ye!

If he got 1,000,000 downloads (which I would say he did), he would have made around €550,000. 70% of profits.

Can you not apply for a refund if you are not happy with the app.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 801 ✭✭✭jobucks

79c, how bad! Brilliant idea and that guy has just paid off his mortgage in one day. Found his developer profile: http://www.appdata.com/ios_apps/devs/1033391-shahla-ghrhchori

He also released a German version!

I downloaded it this morning when I saw it featured in the charts leader board on the app store, I don't begrudge him the 79c in fairness he's a bit of a ledge, let him keep it :)

This is a total cock up by Apple. How did they think this app would not be breaking other people's intellectual copyright is beyond me, particularly given the fact they have local review teams. You do deserve your money back.

Can this be done from your iPhone?
