    Olympic

    PWEI - 2:30

Any prizes for most accurate predication?
I finished in 2:30:07, my first Olympic too.
Guess I won't be winning one of the prize's though.

    Ok, Comparison time....

In fairness weather aligned with the moon and the stars so no excuses there.
A bike mishap lost me a bit, and a run fade but relatively close all round

Hard to predict, but should the sun align with the stars and all...

    Fazz
    Swim - 24:20
    T1 - 01:10
    Bike - 1:01:10
    T2 - 01:10
    Run - 36:52

    Total - 2:04:42

    Gotta be ambitious ;)

    PM'ing now.

    Actual:
    Swim - 22:29 Vs 24:20 = -1:51 seconds better! Sweet :)
    T1 - 01:16 Vs 01:10 = 6 seconds slower. Not bad.
    Bike - 1:01:47 vs 1:01:10 = 37 seconds slower. Close
    T2 - 01:08 vs 01:10 = 2 seconds faster :)
    Run - 39:22 vs 36:52 = 2mins 30 down. Poor! :o

    Overall - 2:06:04 Vs 2:04:42 = 1 min 22 seconds down.

    What do I win??? :D:confused:

I was about 7 mins quicker than my guess, so I await a shattering by somebody with an 8 minute difference!

Based on my Joey Hannon sprint time on 1:45 and Athy being my first Olympic I estimated on the 2nd May that I would hopefully do 3:20.

This went out the window on Saturday when my chain came off at the start of the bike while going up to the big ring and I only managed a time of 3:01:59 :D:D:D

18:01 quicker than my predicted time. ;)

I predicted 2.55 based on it being my first Olympic triathlon and having been injured for the last month and getting no running done. Managed a 2.29, so 26 mins quicker than predicted
