Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

'Tweaking' a prescription

Right, my dad is sick of having to hand out €30 or €40 quid every month to his doctor to get his prescription for his tablets, I think they are for high blood pressure.

Anyway he handed me an old prescription that he wants me to edit for him (change a date and lengthen the duration). I know it's ethically wrong to do this but can it be done and can you get away with it?

It's fraud and criminal fraud and you can both be done for it.

Yes it is a criminal act to "amend" a prescription
I'm not sure why your dad has to see his doctor every month...unless his blood pressure is very unstable and his medicines are being changed then one prescription should last for up to 6 months

It probably can be done. However, Jesus will know about it. You will not get into heaven.

Is the doctor not taking the piss by making him return every month for a prescription? Surely he can give him a repeat subscription?

    Ethically wrong?
    It's completely illegal.

Why can't the doctor write him a repeat prescription for 6 months?

Don't be a bitch, do it.
Might as well add some valium and oxycodone on it as well.

    It's against the law.

You're IP address has been passed on to the relevant authority.

OP, it's illegal and you know it is.

Let's leave it there, shall we?

    Edit: Damn you, Mickey!
