Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm returning to Ireland soon and I have an unlocked 4S, figured when I get back I'd get a data plan.
Which of the providers would be a better option in terms of 3G coverage, speeds and also reliability?

Also with Three. Particularly like the Three Like Home where you can use your mins/texts/data in a number of other countries, including the UK

When you get back, get some free pre pay sims from various networks and test the signal where you'll live work and play and pick the one that's the best signal or compromise and pick the one that offers the best of signal and price which you can live with

⬆ This. Don't just go with the best value.

Yeah I totally get the whole not just going for value deal. I learnt the hard way with my current provider, hence opting to gauge things through other peoples experiences :3

Well I've got 3 and Vodafone pre-pay sims with me at the moment, though last time I used 'em in any 3G-like capacity was in late '10, and even then, it was a HTC Touch Pro on the 20 euro 1GB package from Three, which is now dwarved by my current data usage now xD

But till I'm back, any experiences with different providers in Dublin?
