Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You dont need animals to claim the Single Farm Payment (SFP). You just need to keep the land in good condition.

You do need to keep animals for the Disadvantaged Area (DA) payment which is applied for at the same time as the SFP. There will be ads in the farming papers about it but basically you need to keep twice as many animals as previously, unless you are in REPS, AEOS or another of the enviromental schemes. Your best bet would be to talk to a farm advisor or a well clued in neighbour as they will have to do the same and would be better able to advise you on your situation than me. There is no huge rush yet to do anything so dont panic until it becomes clearer

I hope that helps. If not ask again in a week or so when the terms will be clearer
