That would be a massive change from how they've done it previously.
What they normally do is making certain features of the new OS unavailable to devices which aren't the newest one.

Apple prefer to have a more homogenous evironment as this will allow more reliable access to the App Store and app updates. Delaying the iOS6 launch would create problems with App compatibility for either existing or new devices.

iOS6 will be available for download either tonight or tomorrow.

Nope, iOS 6 will be available the day the iP5 comes out. The GM seed will be released today for developers.

A lot of the video live streaming sites will have a few stream popping up, or at least they have in the past. Not the best quality but usually better than reading a live blog.
