I know this has been asked before but I would like opinions on FE1 preparatory courses. Basically City v Griffith v Independent. Any stand out lecturers? How good are the online options? Thanks for your help.

Ciara Fitzgerald at GCD is fairly well known as being a brilliant lecturer - I've come across people mentioning her in other institutions ref Land Law. She teaches First years Contract Law and it fantastic, great notes, knows the subject inside out and will occationally have a bit of craic. I know a couple of people looking at FE1 / Kings Inns prep courses (for 2013/14) who are cherry picking based on lectuerers - basically going between Independant and GCD for the different subjects.

Brendan Foley taught me more about Constitutional in 5 hours than I thought possible. He's with City colleges. I did Griffith for property and eu- didn't really watch the lectures but I did like the eu course. Apparently Val Corbett seems to be the Messiah of tort and he's with Independent.

Hi, does Brendan Foley have past exam papers? I found they really helped me before.

Val Corbett really is the Messiah of tort. His predictions for March 2012 were spot on especially re passing off!

Would anyone recommend any specific lecturers for Contract and EU? Val Corbett is amazing for Tort would really recommend him. He is in Independent! Any thoughts appreciated.

What about the Holy Trinity College in Cork? are there any opinions on their teaching standards? I believe their courses are designed for the non law grad.
