Is there a maximum distance (cable length) for adding in an inertia sensor and contact reed onto a HKC wireless reed. The wireless sensor is reed only, can an inertia be added in or only a contact reed?

    Thanks...

You can add inertias & Contacts into the wireless unit. I'm not sure of the maximum cable distance allowed but it would be unlikely to exceed that in a house. What sort of distance were you thinking of?

100m on Alarm Terminal and 3m on tamper. Any longer on tamper loop will affect battery life.

I'm only talking about maybe 4/5 mts at the most,I've wired the wireless reed to an outside shed (no wiring to main house) and want to add a couple of inertia sensors and a PIR with a seperate PSU.
