24-04-2012 10:59am#1I am part of the team putting together this show so you can contact me anytime if you have any questions.
It was formally known as the "Rockbrook Show" held at Rockbrook College, "Rathfarnham show"/ Rockbrook.
This Year we have moved to St. Columba's College, Whitechurch.
National Council for the Blind of Ireland, NCBI is need of funding to purchase braille machines for teaching children to read and write in braille.
Schools who have children who suffer from sight loss may only have one machine and when it breaks down the child has to wait up to 7 weeks for it to be repaired.. Lets help them to purchase braille machines so these kids don't fall behind.
The show was started by Jean and Kevin Byrne and has been running since 1998, and this year we hope to get as many clubs and individuals involved as possible.
Entry is 10 euro per car, not by the number of people in the car! There are also collection buckets on site and stalls of various types selling items.
All the proceeds from entry fee, coffee, tea, sambos, sales at stalls go to the NCBI charity. So please see your way to giving on the day.

First of all we would like to thank everyone for their great support in making this event a success.
The NCBI are delighted with the funds raised on the day.
It was great that the weather kept up for us but unfortunate it rain so much the few days leading up to event which left the field soaked… In saying that so many were happy to park on the tarmac areas..
Great fun, great company, great cars, some interesting bits and bobs for sale and the wonderful people who volunteered to help out with the event. Thank you..
