New York temporary accomadation

Hi,

Im headin on holidays to New York on June 25th for 4 nyts. Im trying to get cheap accomadation for my stay as hotels in the city ar very expensive. I thinking of a short term apartment rental in the city for the 4 nyts. Does anyone know where I would find such accomodation and how much it would cost.

Not sure what kind of budget you're looking at, is it just for you?
I've stayed here before, at about 100$ a night, it's perfect and in a really good location in manhattan for bars etc

Or else this place is very reasonable, also in manhattan and in a good area, I haven't stayed there but the reviews seem fine, basic and small but perfect as a base (you wouldn't spend all day in your room!) http://hotel17ny.com/

Thanks for the response. Its me and my girlfriend. We are heading to Vegas first and then to New York. Wer supposed to be staying with family but complications arose. Just looking for a simple apartment for the few days in convenient location.
