Best place to put money away for a year?

    I was wondering what bank gives best 12month savings interest rate?
    I want to put away in the next few weeks as I going to Canada for a year and won't need it. It is in the credit union now and I get not a lot in interest.

    PTSB doing 4% interest first for the year. 5.6% on 16month td 1 withdrawal without penalty of up to 25%

    KBC have the highest 1 year rate @ 4.15% AER. Full list of term deposits here.

    The 16 month term deposit with PTSB pays 4.17% AER.
