I was going to buy the following camera and Hard disk recorder from CCTVdirect.

I have invested in cheap CCTV camera and recorders before and lived to regret it. I expect to have spent a €1,000 on it in total (self install). I need it to cover a yard and i need it to work at night.

Does anybody have any feed back on the company or product or have any recommendation for better system for that money.

CCTV Direct are a decent outfit, search the boards here for feedback from other people
The "Kiler cam" is a good camera but do you really need 100M IR. I have not used the dvr but it loks good on paper.
Have a look at http://www.benchmarkmagazine.com. It is full of reviews on all the different brands, the killer cam got a score of 81%
