Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cows and birds rode and somehow produced a cure. Two negatives made a positive or some shít.

They are still about but we are not rich any more and we have more pressing issues like paying for food and finding a nice dry place to put a cardboard box to live in when we get turffed out of the banks hone.

Mad cow and bird flue are worries of the rich, who have nothing better on their mind

Remember the late 80's - Ebola was supposed to have become airborne and we were all gonna die....that disappeared too!

Turns out the cows were on magic mushrooms and the bird's just had a cold.

You mean, what happened to the overly hysterical news reports that were saying they would wipe us all out?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Thousands of cows were slaughtered to control the spread of mad cow disease.

Bird flu never became the threat the media reported it would, nor was it ever expected to. Cautions were taken, the media had a shitstorm.

I think the iodine tablets cured them.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Bird flu is serious and it hasn't went away, its still lurking.

With mad cow the pathogen was new and prion caused disease is not fully understood. There still might be long term effects.

Mad cow has apparently raised its head in California this week, so it is still there.

I was a kid at the height of Mad Cow Disease, and remember of being terrified of contracting CJD. For months, I refused point blankly to eat any beef, for fear of getting it.

At my cousins party at Leisureplex, we were all making our orders, standard party food. I ordered a veggie bugger, keeping with my insistence to not go near beef. It was only years later that I found my aunt actually changed the order to a normal beefburger, and I ate it completely unaware  She could of killed me.

Dustin Hoffman & Rene Russo solved that one sometime in the 90s
