Switching names on Electric Ireland?

    I'm hoping someone can help me here.

    I signed up to Electric Ireland in Feb this year, all is fine with it.
    But I have to move out of the Apt this June coming.
    I share with 2 others in the Apt.

    Is it possible to transfer this account over into one of the other housemates names with no problems or will this be a very difficult thing to do?
    Could you advice me on the most simple way to do this without any hassle.

    Hi Readyletsgo,

    The procedure here would be to close the account in your name just at the point you are no longer liable for bills at that address, and accompanied with an up-to-date meter reading, and then have one of your flatmates open a new account for the address.
