We have a great night lined up this bank holiday Sunday!
We always had a big love for the House/Techno classics of the 90's so we decided to dedicate a whole night to the music.
There really is only one DJ who we had 100% faith in to deliver a great set so we got in touch with DJ Francois. If you were clubbing back in the 90's in Dublin then you would have surely known his name and more so probably enjoyed many hours dancing to his DJ sets at UFO / Alien. Support on the night comes from the equally talented DJ's Ger Stokes (Pod / 515 / Kiss FM) , Joe Mangan & Mark Daly. The OLD SKOOL basement kicks off at 8pm and ends at 12.30am.
As with every Psychonavigation event we stay through to our roots so we have dedicated a whole room to Chill-Out music
Psychonavigation head honcho Keith Downey will kick off proceedings at 7pm with a classic ambient set full of gems from the likes of The Future Sound Of London,The Orb,Woob,The Black Dog,B12,Mixmaster Morris......
Taking over the reigns from Keith will be his former DJ partner Dex. He is one of the first Ambient DJ's on the Dublin pirate radio scene back in the 90's. His radio show alongside Keith on Kiss FM and his own show on Jazz FM were always an essential listen each week. DJ.Dex has promised to play a 2 hour set of classic Ambient/Dub sounds. Finishing up the night there will be a debut live performance from Psychonavigation Record's latest signing Imploded View. If you are a fan of Boards Of Canada and the sounds of Ulrich Schnauss you are in for a treat! To say were a little excited about this night is such a understatement
Now I know times are tough out there people so we deliberately handpicked this venue as it is FREE entry all night!! So no need to pay stupid bank holiday prices into other events when you still can hear lots of beautiful music in a city centre location.
There will also be an array of drink promotions on the night too. 2 cocktails for 10e , pitchers of Fosters for 10e and many more..
