Ebay Charges, am I doing it right

    Hi,

    Apologies if this is in the incorrect forum.


    I set up a basic EBay store and have a few items listed, but the cost seems very high.

    Ignoring the €19.99 per month standing charge to have a 'store', I recently sold an item with a total price of €99 + €10 Shipping = €109, the charges were as follows:

    Insertion Fee - €1.40
    Final Value Fee - €9.89
    Paypal Fee - €4.06

    So the total fees on this €109 transaction were = €15.35

    This seems incredibly high, am I doing something wrong?

    Okay investigating further:

    Seems they have included 15% Luxembourg VAT, also I was charged 10% Final Value Fee, I think this should have been 3%.
