Its him or RDM I think and even then RDM will be holding for him

Pep would be a big risk for sides though

The thing about pep is that players like hulk ,hazard, marin, mata and torres would all work well under him IMO and they would suit his style. If the squad remained the same then he would fail, we need to sign more technical creative players and we seem to be doing that finally.

"L'Equipe: Chelsea have convinced Eden Hazard to drop £70K from his wages. He is going to earn 100K a week."

    Sounds great if its true.

Champions League winners medal in his back pocket and he does this !

Drogba himself would be proud .

In fairness Torres was always decent with his head.
I'm still scratching my head what has gone wrong with him.
Maybe if he's the main man next season you'll see the old Torres?

It's all in the service! I've said it all along a player like Torre's trives on that unlike drogba who's a battering ram, Torres just didn't get enough of that last year! Roll on next season.

I think this will be the turning point for him now in his chelsea career, the problem is he has had so many turning points he is back to where he began with chelsea.

I disagree. Drogba needed service too but didn't need the team built around him as much Torres does.
Drogba was a beast for Chelsea and IMHO would more easily fit in to more teams than Torres.
    All strikers need service.

This must be Torres' last summer to prove it Chelsea.

Torres was very good tonight, as was Mata who should have scored, he had a goal correctly ruled offside also.

Delighted for Nando, it was a great finish.

Not good for our Euro chances though :pac:

I've been watching him for a while.
I love the way he strikes the ball.
It actually seems effortless and he looks like a right talent.

Scary how quickly Spain passed the ball around tonight minus their Barcelona contingent. It'll be interesting to see how many games Mata starts. He really is a special player.

To be honest I don't see him start too much bar injury to others.
Agreed he is a special player but Spain are blessed with special players at the moment.

I think he'll make an appearance in most games, but most likely won't start. He's a fantastic option to have if Spain are struggling to beat a team with 10 men behind the ball (Ireland), his link up play with Silva was excellent tonight, two of them were very dangerous. To be honest I'd prefer if he was used sparingly, would be nice and all to see him doing well, but he has played a huge amount of football in the last season and could do with a break.

Mata is brillant but Spain have so many options, i dont think he'll start but hes brillant to have as back up.

Hulk and Hazard are quite the replacement for Malouda and Kalou. Talking about adding pace and guile to a team. If the front 4 of Hazard, Mata, Hulk and Torres click it could be devastating.

He has no knees though and would want big wages

'He has no knees' - yet he's not had an injury in 18 months in Egnald?

I may be wrong but I don't recall one.

Wages wouldnt be to bad but ya his knee problems could flare up and keep him out.

I think we will sigh a cf but i dont know if it will be a marquee signing or a squad player.

I think and could be wrong bt did he not come back from the African Nations with an injury and he missed a game?

Could be wrong but its ringing alarm bells.

The thing is he has to pass a medical and if he fails it a club probably cant insure him

Neither are near his standard at the moment.

If he leaves whoever he signs for will be a risk.

I think he'll end up at Spurs

After watching hulk play vs the States there and a few points:

    1) big fcuker
2)fast for his size. Great bursting pace
3)does have that samba skill in his bag.
4)can get knocked over easily for a big fella
5)massive power in his left foot.
6)not overly fond of tracking back.
7)like to shoot from waaay out.

I'm sure with some guidance he will become a more formidable player.

Potentially brilliant. Definetly a signing that would need the ''year to settle in'' vibe.

And no right foot, hes almost as one footed as Valencia. Could be a great signing but 40m is a lot to pay

Hulk is a quality quality player and is gonna cause problems for any defense no question. Only thing is, he is expensive but he will be worth it for the 5 years he will make up for his fee ;)

Talk of us going for Demble and Ba but TBH i dont think we need either. With Torres and Sturridge as our strikers and Hulk also able to play as a striker we wont need any one else. Lukaku will more than likely go on loan.

I cant wait for the transfare window to offically open, i wont be happy untill i see Pep guardiola flankedeither side by Hazard and Hulk holding a Chelsea shirt :)

I'm just happy we have Hazard at the moment. The rest will fall into place. ;)
