I LOVE transfer season, so to see us linked with everyone in the world and actually making bids on everyone is music to my ears!

I actually hope we get Moses now, ive changed my mind on him, good back-up for RW if we can get him less than 10million, dont want us to spend 26million on Willian, over all though, id still like us to be moving for Hulk!

Hulk will be with Oscar in the Brazil team, IN LONDON, he'll love it there and Oscar will be going on about the club and his move, its sure to drive Hulk to demand his move!

    mwahahahaha!!!

What are the stats between Kezman,Sutton,Shevchenko and Mutu?

    Kezman - 4 league goals / 25 games
    Sheva - 9 league goals / 47 games
    Sutton - 1 league goal / 28 games
    Mutu - 6 league goals / 27 games
    Torres - 7 league goals / 46 games

    :pac:

Mutu, if he hadnt failed the drugs test would have been a top player for us I think.

Thats why Mutu is in my team just a peraonal thing. Sutton was really quite poor for us but I would say better than Paul Furlong by a country mile all round and Robert Fleck didnt set the world alight neither

Thats why I had Furlong in my team, he was useless ha.

Staying up for the game tonight lads?

Is Paulo Ferreira still playing for us?
I always liked him and thought he was one of our most consistent performers in 04-05 but after that season he was never given another run really..

Surprised that Wright-Phillips hasn't made anyone's wort chelsea xi. There we're some games where he genuinely lost the ball every single time he got it and misplaced every pass but he kinda came good near the end I guess.

Bosingwa has to be there or thereabouts for you for the RB position based on the past 2 years or so.

K.O time? And is it on any sports channels or streams although I don't think I'm aloud to ask so I'm talking about a River stream I promise.

    Seattles kit is lovely.

Hazard looking decent enough so far. Good few chances there though for the boys.

Jesus, 10 years olds would do a better job in defence.

2 2, great goal. Chelsea's passing is shocking so far

3-2 Chelsea, Marin, 40 mins in. Very similar to Hazards goal aswell. Two debut goals, very nice!

    4-2.

    Cracking game.

Half time, impressed with hazard and marin. Some very sloppy defending from us but not suprising in pre season. We look poor on the right wing (yossi)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭TheStook

    Half time, 4-2 chelsea.

Good half aside from a few bad passes and bad defending.
Marin,Lukaku,Josh,Chelobouh and Hazard all looking good, hopefully De Bruyne,Kakuta and Piazon get a run out.

    Excellent half of football!

    stream gone.. anyone got one?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,071 ✭✭✭TheStook

My eyes are failing to stay open.

Looking to stay 4-2 anyway, very promising start. De Bruyne looked very lively which is good. Be interesting to see how often the young players get played as this year we actually have some very good talent which we haven't had in a long time.

The other U.S games better not be this late as I dont think I can hack this again.

    Goodnight!

    Full time - 4-2.

Mainly positives to take from that I reckon.

Defence was sloppy first half, but that was to be expected.

Very impressed with Marin, and some lovely touches from Hazard. Nice to see both on the scoresheet, despite both goals taking a deflection.
Lukaku showed some nice link up play and took his 2 goals well also. Pity we're loaning him out, would be a great back-up, although I understand that he needs gametime this year.

Second half - very impressed with Todd Kane. Pressed forward well. Had one decent shot. Didn't look out of place.

First time seeing Piazon for me. Very impressive. Didn't do a lot, but his close control and dribbling skills are amazing. Ball looked glued to his boot - Very like Messi! Would love to see him get more time in the next friendly.

De Bruyne too - very lively. Pacy, hard-working, good dribbler. Reminded me of Damien Duff at that age. Pity his finishing wasn't better though as he could've had a couple. He'll get sharper though. Hope he sticks around this season.

    ...now, time for bed.
Work at 8.30am shall be interesting! :)

Ya can never really put to much thought into pre-seasons though, its mainly just to get back to playing ball and getting back to match fitness, I wouldnt really care to much about performances this early in the season. :P

Not to read too much into any friendly, but with Drogba gone, I'd expect Lukaku to get his chances this season. He's young obviously, but if he's good enough then he's old enough, especially as Torres will be sharing the load with him. Marin and Hazard scoring can't do their confidence any harm either.

Another couple of wins please and then it's a case of roll on Monte Carlo & Wembley
