Delighted for Ulster. Have to say delighted for Edinburgh to get that last try, they deserved it, played some great rugby.

Now just for another Irish team to make the final.

Edinburgh must be gutted. Had plenty of chances but blew them.

    Well done Ulster

Hard to see them being much of a threat to the winners of Clermont Leinster playing like that though

I think you're overegging it a bit, Ulster forced a lot of the errors. They were lucky but they deserve to get to the final.

Paddy Power and the other bookies will certainly have been delighted - must have netted them thousands.

Yeah. Well done Ulster for making the final but Edinburgh were the better team today who played all the rugby. The Ulster try ws incredibly lucky and a total brain fart by Poite. But Ulster squeezed Edinburgh in the second half and played 10 man rugby and it got them over the line. The celebrating and lap of honour at the end said it all-well done for making the final but they wont win it.

Fair play to Ulster but I fear for them against either of tomorrows teams....

How did Jackson do, good enough to start at 10 in the final?

He mixed the ordinary with the terrible..

Ulster were a bit lucky but they defended the Edinburgh onslaught well in the 1st half, in the 2nd half they played the game smartly, kept things tight, forced Edinburgh back and made use of their set piece strengths.

From 50 - 79 mins Ulster effectively shut the game down.

Edinburgh made some poor mistakes in the 2nd half but they were all from well out the pitch, they never really threatened the Ulster try line until the end.

Pienaar showed his class at key stages to get Ulster on the front foot and his goal kicking was flawless.

Ulster have nothing to lose in the final, it would have been a disaster to lose a home semi to Edinburgh but even if they lose the final they'll have had a good season. They'll be underdogs with everything to play for.

Come on Leinster tomorrow would make for a great weekend for Irish Rugby.

He was minded big style. Never exposed, and he just popped the ball to Wallace inside every time he got the ball.

He will certainly not get that type of protection against tomorrows winners and he'll certainly have more decisions to make, particularly if Ulster are chasing the game which they didn't have to do today

Lacked a bit of presence but wasnt terrible I dont think. Cant say I seen anything to suggest he should start a heineken cup final though.

Furthermore, well done Ulster, was a good win and very entertaining win, BUT, dare I say it, on that evidence, Leinster and Clermont will be treating tomorrow as a final more than ever...

Well no, but Pienaar and Wannenburg by themselves wouldn't do very well against Edinburgh. All the points were earned by the scrum and the rest of the team as a whole.

Of the Irish, Fitzpatrick and Cave were impressive, hopefully both can build on this and get on the plane to NZ.

    Cave is some defender

I'd still have Earls and BOD ahead of him though
