Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would I be right in saying that it's 'cool' to show white socks in Dublin, especially with grey heel and toe, like I posted? I notice everyone has them. What you think?

Hmmm.. i dont notice other peoples socks to be honest. LOL Id say about 20% of the population take notice of peoples feet in my opinion. I dont wear white socks myself as i always find they never stay white. You might get a proper opinion from a sock fashionista on this. ;)

I wear these pretty much every day, unless it's very warm! I have a million pairs of them, helps that I get them free/very cheap :o After wearing them all other socks make my feet cold!

Not doing research no, just thought about it for ages and wanted to find out what people thought about sock fashion. It's never talked about.

As long as the socks are not white I think your onto a winner...there is nothing worse than white socks with shoes.....In my book white socks should never be worn without trainers. Coloured socks all the way

IMO - the only situation in which white socks are ok is if you are jogging or running or something similar. Other than this, Michael Jackson was the only man who could pull them off!

The type of socks I wear depends on my shoes but my socks are very rarely on display so I don't really care what they look like most of the time (I do, unintentionally, frequent the "odd sock" fashion!).

I wear the plain black ones you get in Dunnes in a five pack. I never have the hassle of odd socks!
