Monitors for ssf4

Very quick question guys. Can get thi monitor second hand for 220- new is 375. I have credit in a store to pay for it.

Tested using ssf4 and seems to have little/no lag.

Am wondering if anyone has one?

Also, it has no hdmi so need to use a hdmi converter. Is this standard when using monitors-do the community monitors have hdmi connection on back?

I've an LG (22LG3000), with dual HDMI inputs. It cost me 300e on Ebay 3 years ago. 5ms response time (GTG, Grey to Grey response time).

The one you're looking at looks fine. 5ms GTG, 3ms ISO (Black-White-Black response time).

The only thing I'd worry about is the HDMI -> VGA conversion process.
I do a lot of AutoCAD / 3DSMax work and I can't work on a VGA input, VGA blurs the colours too much. The lines in the drawing look thicker than they normally should be. Colours are brighter and more true to Adobe RGB standards, the Gamma correction makes stuff print out more true to screen also.

That's about the range of my knowledge on the subject.

I would look for Dual HDMI anyway, it's well handy for having laptop/xbox combo... etc...

Oh and the LG's have 'Game mode' too to bypass some unknown processes. Can only be good eh?

Response time doesn't factor into input lag.

Haven't seen that one myself but generally Samsungs are fairly good for lag.

I got this one last week. SRK says it has 7ms of lag, seems fine to me. It has hdmi and vga ports, VGA looks like crap compared to HDMI on it.

3.8ms of lag (Chunkis said it was laggy so you know it isn't) HDMI looks teh sexorz on it, although I have no idea how to get sound if you're using it.

Dell usually don't make lagless monitors though, they are normally considered very good monitors, just not gaming monitors. Where you see the 3.8ms of lag info?

Nice price for that, I remember it being 350 or something when I looked at it awhile ago.
