Andros Townsend's proposed move to QPR is off. The Tottenham midfielder arrived at the Rs' training ground this morning only to receive a phone call to tell him that the switch to Loftus Road had been shelved.

I'm off work sick until next week due to a bang on the head... I'm in Australia and its 21:36 at the moment. I'll be consistently waking up throughout to night to check my phone...

I'm definitely emphasizing the "transfer Deadline day is bad for your health" situation.

You know, I know he went to Gala for mega bucks wages and been an ex chelsea player he probbably wouldnt have signed for us, but a short term deal for Drogba would have suited us perfectly.

Alex Pritchard gone on loan to Peterborough. This is quite interesting. I was hoping he'd sign a new contract sooner rather than later.

The experience will be great, but if he does very well there will be more light shone on him. Hopefully our NextGen team can keep progressing without him too.
