Hey, I want to sit the GAMSAT and I'm doing a law (LL.B) in NUI Maynooth. I know that section three is science based (first year chem and bio, LC physics) and I was wondering if anyone has done it without a science degree and how it went for them? Any information would be appreciated :)

Doyler - yes it is doable. You will need to put in a lot of effort however as sec 3 is double weighted. I did bio for a level and chem for gcse, and almost 10 years later took the GAMSAT. I got a score of 59 with 57 in sec 3.

Note that there is very little physics in the exam.

There are lots of guides etc on the Internet. First check out the GAMSAT and GEM sub forum on here, then also look at new media medicine and paging dr,cloth of which are very informative and for me proved to be a great support network.

    Best of luck.
