Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Now the big old hazard swingometer is pointing to the CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!

    http://www.eurosport.fr/football/premier-league/2011-2012/hazard-vers-chelsea_sto3286877/story.shtml

Is @RBairner https://twitter.com/#!/RBairner reliable? This is what he tweeted.

Today's L'Equipe reports that #Hazard is closing in on a 5-year contract with #Chelsea. Big turnaround after Champions League final. #CFC

Dunno, I still think the COMMUNITY SHIELD WINNERS 2012 have a decent chance of signing him.

    Oh yeah, 2011 wasn't it?

    Balls.

Edit: My post actually rules out United and backs up the other two contenders, City and Chelsea.

    Double balls.

He would thrive under Arsene Wenger. Arsenal would be ideal for a young player with his potential. Cue him going to city for megabucks and spending half the season in Silvas shadow.

    Ah, modern football.

Why would he go to Arsenal though? There's no incentive, financial or success-wise.

Why go anywhere other than City then?

At this stage I hope Chelsea's CL win clouds his judgement enough for him to go there, should make for some interesting reading in a few months when the reality sets in and he cries for another move.

Because other teams win stuff and pay good money too.

Why not:confused:, seems the obvious choice if he wants guaranteed game time.

Not really. Would he not be competing directly with Mata???
Also any high profile signing would also probably want to know who the new manager of a club is before going there.

How can a manager promise game time in a particular position if there is no manager?

Mata played most of the season for us out on the left wing

and if you are asking about the lack of a manager at chelsea and game time, you really dont understand about Chelsea and Roman!

I realise Mata played on the left for most of the season. But that wa smy point, depending on tic-tacs that is where Hazard will play a bit too.

And of course I realise the whole Roman running the show thing going on at SB. I was just thinking that against all the odds he might actually keep away from the new manager. Silly me!!!

    Chelsea
Well they've just signed Marin who is a no. 10.

Also Man Utd are a better option if he wants to fight for trophies. Don't see how one season of not being in the Champions League would make a play sign for someone or not.

You can get 6/1 on that with bet victor. Not sure where he'll end up but I think that price is far too generous.

    Cheers for that.

Think that is huge price as things stand.

PP bet 11/8 Man Utd,15/8 Chelsea and Man City....

Sky Bet go 6/5 Man Utd 6/4 Chelsea and 9/4 City

So that 6/1 with Victor looks massive as Kew said also.....

Even old Louis Saha is tweeting that he's going to sign for Chelsea....

    louis sahalouissaha08
Apparently on his way to Chelseafc. @hazardeden10

I'd say Saha knows as much as ourselves tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,821 ✭✭✭Skud

Saha said that he didnt know where he was going 15 mins before he posted he off to Chelsea.

Hazard = ultimate transfer muppet ever

I'd say he's a bit more in the know than the average joe.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

lol, Saha knows nothing. He's just regurgitating rumours. I thought the word 'apparently' made that clear, unless some of you believe that his very own ITK was on hand to tell him what Eden has decided, before he has actually announced it :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,247 ✭✭✭Meglamonia

Hazard will surely announce it today after that tweet tho?

He's gonna sign for Liverpool! Lille can keep Joe cole as a straight swap

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,365 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

also, he can't be guaranteed his favoured position by Chelsea, unless Absramovich has personally told him the tactics his team are going to use.

they don't have a fúcking manager yet!

That's why there has been such a delay in announcing the new manager. The owners have been trying to sort out this transfer
