Scrabble Club - 24 Hour Scrabble-a-thon

    Hi All,

    The Menapia Scrabble Club will be running a 24 hour scrabble-a-thon during the June Bank Holiday weekend so please come along, have a game and/or support a local charity.

    Starting at 10am on Saturday morning (2nd June) in Whites Hotel running through until 10am on Sunday morning. A huge thanks to Whites Hotel in Wexford town for supporting us. www.whitesofwexford.ie/

    We are also recruiting new members. We meet in Wexford town on Thursday evenings in the Gaelic bar on Distillary Road from 8pm. Shortly there will be new branches in New Ross & Enniscorthy. So come along, have a game and meet some new friends.

    In the next couple of weeks we will be announcing a raft of events so watch this space.

    Hi everyone,

    We have had to change the date for the 24 Scrabble-a-thon to the 23rd June 2012 as the both players who will be doing the whole 24 hours (Siobhan Doyle & myself) will be busy working due to the referendum!.

    We have chosen to raise funds for Our Ladys Children’s Hospital in Crumlin (through a new local charity recently set up – The Ben Wadding Trust) so please both give generously and collect some sponsorship from your friends and work colleagues.
