Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Usually about 4 litres, but only because the weather is hot.

In Ireland, maybe only 1 - 2 litres.

I'd go through about 4 litres a day, sometimes more if I train both morning and evening!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,739 ✭✭✭✭starbelgrade

About half a glass. Drinking water is over-rated.

You don't need water to survive, its an urban myth, I haven't drank water in 10 years.

don't really drink water if you define it as coming out of tap into glass and into mouth.

However, i do drink lots of tea, the odd can of Club, in or around a Litre of milk (sometimes 2) and seeing most things i eat contain water i get by.

This whole you need 8 pints a day has been busted and here is a snopes link on it

I meant if I go for a run in the morning and then to the gym after work, your body will need more water when you excercise more!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,130 ✭✭✭✭Kiera

    At least 2ltr a day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,127 ✭✭✭✭kerry4sam

Norm though is 2ltr bottled water daily; not including coffee, tea and other water-based minerals like vit-hit juice drinks,

adding in walking/jogging/gym-work and I cannot give a definite answer for how much water I drink daily as it would depend on the days' activities.

Who knows, prob about 30 litres including a shower per day.

Once we have to pay a flat charge for water though I'll be leaving my taps on all day long.

If I have to pay for water, then I can do what I want with mine.
If it was free, then I would conserve, if I have to pay, then I will waste.

At least 2 litres of water, and normally 1 - 2 litres of fizzy drinks, mi-wadi etc.
I find the later don't get rid of my thirst but I drink them anyway. 2 litres of water is less than 4 pints.. how could anyone drink less than that a day and not feel thirsty or have dark pi'ss? I simply couldn't go a day without drinking at least 2 pints of pure water.
