    It's probably simpler to do it here.
    There they have stages with "practicals" (Maybe a better system). You need the last stage of UK licence for here.

    You need a UK address to get a licence in UK.

    Then if resident you would have to still pay the Irish once off €100

    As another person has already said, you would be better doing the Irish licence here and then going to GB and getting an M0 (Full licence) on the basis of the Irish one (request the HAREC cert from Comreg).

    Comreg give you the HAREC free as part of your exam results. You hold on to that as well as any licence issued.

    I still has my HAREC and IRL licence.
