Nice car no doubt, not worth 5500-6000 after vrt though.

It's a perfect example of why a car with a fairly large but not monsterous engine will be overlooked in Ireland as our taxation system is far too top heavy

If it's as clean as it looks I'd pay that kind of money if I had it. Tbh I wasn't looking to hear the usual ''It's not worth that much'' story, just an appreciation of a fine car in all it's glory.

It's all relative, im just saying it's a pity because of the way our systems are set up that we are denied cars like that by hurdles such as vrt and extortionate tax.

I would say it's worth 4 grand and 500e tax a year and many others would be going ape to get one if that was the case

Ah sure I know but if the tax was 25% of what it is know then surely the prices of second hand large engined cars would rise. Cheap tax and high prices compared to high tax and cheap prices.

Still, if I had €6k lying around and wanted a car, that would be top of my list, not some clapped out Audi TDI or even a bargain luxobarge.

That GTA is stunning. Love the pic of the engine too.

Being brutally honest here though, lovely looking cars and all, but not being RWD is a major put off.

Saw this for sale this evening, looks to be a really nice example of the 6 MPS. I think he has it priced well too, shouldn't be too hard to shift that in a few days I'd imagine.

How could it be? How could anyone forget the ''LH'' on the front of your car instead of what it always should have been ''D''..:pac:

I like the look of them, seem reasonable too.
Thinking of changing wheels to something 18 inch. I want gloss black with some sort of red accent, think that would look good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,930 ✭✭✭✭challengemaster

    Pink accent? :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,344 ✭✭✭gollywog

    Pink accent? :pac:

You made me literally lol there, nice work :)
But do you think that would look good?
I'm kinda undecided tbh, might just get 18 monzas second hand and get them refurbed gloss black with red....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,930 ✭✭✭✭challengemaster

If you mean a red line around the outside of the rim, it can look brilliant if it suits, if not it looks pure cack.

Tis your car dude! do what you want :)

Might be a stupid suggestion but, you could maybe buy red & black plastidip and do your own wheels for some idea of how it might look? and sure you can always peel it off anyway.

Nope, would be looking to do it today/tomorrow though I'd say. Probably today due to the meet on Saturday, would be best to have it for then if at all possible.

I was waiting on one person to appear in work because I know he wants some as well, but good news, he's standing right in front of me, so I'll sort it today.

    You want any?

Front grilles, front splitter, lower lip, front fog surrounds and side badges.

Finish is grand, the grilles and fog surrounds have been done since last Jan/Feb and still look perfect. It lasts better than people think it would in my experience.

There is if you've got nothing else to do, don't have to worry about the shampoo drying on the car, don't have to dry it afterwards. Just remember that it's going to get manky on its first drive though :P

    How're ya feeling today anyway?
