So it's likely that this'll be on the 23rd, then Sea Sessions is starting on the 29th, then I've a four day seminar to attend kicking off on the 5th. Wow, that's going to be a deadly two weeks

Was hoping that this wouldn't take place over the June bank holiday as I have to go to a 21st and then the Rory G on the Sunday. 23rd is the perfect weekend for it, the Volvo Ocean Race starts the week after and I expect madness will ensue given how busy everywhere will be.

Are people dead set on Kelly's? It's one of those places that I'm not too keen on, when the place is busy you have to scream to be heard and as such any attempts at conversation are thwarted. When it's not busy the place has all the charm of a morgue.

It's also the only place in Galway where I have regularly been attacked by candles, headed in last week with a few friends and left with a brand new 70 euro top covered in wax thanks to some twat who threw a candle holder at us. Smashed into the wall inches from my friend's girlfriends face.

That is one of the greatest phrases I've ever read, sounds like some sort of horrible 80s horror movie! In fact I guess you could say I thought it was wick-ed. :cool:

Everywhere is close, Galway is small.

The House Hotel is central and nice.
