RB list - wording too ambiguous?

    to every dog of the type commonly known as a Ban Dog (or Bandog) and to every other strain or cross of every breed or type of dog described in this article.

    particularly the bold type.

    there are plenty of crosses of dogs that fall into a 'type' that have nothing to do with the RB list as a type is largely based on looks and dimensions (with some behaviour).

    for instance this is an american bulldog, labrador X

    the dog bellow falls in bull terrier type to me. infact it would take a keen eye to say it wasnt a bull breed.

    am i right in thinking this or does irish law use the term 'type' in a differant way to UK law?
