Time for transfer – post office > bank

    I've drawn money out of my post office account and lodged it directly into my Irish bank account (did this in the post office giving my pin at the counter). Does anyone know how long it takes? I'd hoped it would have been the same day.

    If you are talking AIB, than about an hour before it appears in online banking.
