my experience from 4 years ago in a German hotel. a guy comes into the hotel gym room, drops the towel, gets on the treadmill and starts running, completely naked, with his wingilingy and pompoms flying from one side to another. he was English, not sure if that's a diagnosis or an explanation. it wasn't a nice sight

For women? I don't know either there are some nice frilly ones that don't look like aul one pants.

Then there are really skimpy ones which I don't get unless you're in really good shape it doesnt work and neither does anything else (I'm not talking about massive I just mean a size 8-14/16 but not toned/overweight) small briefs, don't get that they just cut into the tops of your thighs. I don't like anything being too elasticated, clingy, big, small, tight, low... think ill go design something better than girly boxers.

You know what I saw, I saw the rolled up 5 packs of childish cotton undies that said silly slogans on them and had flowers or polka dots on them, useless, I saw up to the belly button forts, pieces of strings with a triangle of fabric at the front, and all these seamless things that are maybe the best of a bad bunch. Bleugh, I was actually looking at them thinking well maybe theyll be comfortable until some nun looking yoke walks up from behind me and starts giving them a good feel, It was a sign.

Personally, I hate briefs. They're great for support but man do they end up strangling the boys!:p
