Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just taking a look at Ryan Meara' twitter feed proves how Irish he is. He is born and raised in USA yet is watching Mayo in the All Ireland.

He follows Ireland games all the time.

The man is a Irish citizen.

Wouldn't really even consider this one the Granny Rule.

Don't care if he's from Mongolia. If he's good enough, get him in if possible. In fairness to the lad he couldn't look any more Irish if he tried :pac:

If your any little way decent in that league your gonna look like a world beater to be honest. Get him into a proper league before we talk about him challenging in any way.

Ten years ago? Yes. Five years ago? Probably. Today? Not so much.

The quality of the MLS has gone up big time.

It's improved. But it's still a very poor quality. All the fireworks of big signings and former european league players hasn't even made it on a par with most European leagues IMO. I definitely wouldn't be picking International players from it.

    Robbie Keane?

I'm pretty sure he proved himself in other leagues before.

Ian McGlouglin is the u21s first choice keeper and hasnt been mentioned as been a potential future star, looks like he has all the attributes to be very good

If you aren't from Donegal you can't be a legendary Irish goalkeeper - it's the law :pac:

The MLS is on a par with the lower half of the English Championship. It is not all that bad.

Just take a look at his face.

    No doubting his Irishness.

I've watched a few MLS matches on ESPN and have been surprised by how good the quality is. Nice, free-flowing end to end stuff. :)
