Transit of Venus Powerpoint and other shows

hi all,

I've some Ms-Powerpoint shows up in Dropbox about the upcoming transit of Venus, volcanism in the Solar System, and exploring the outer Solar System. They are talks I've done over the last year or so.

I know the transit talk is 14Mb to download. I left it as .ppt format so that people can edit as they see fit but if anyone can't play them let me know and I'll upload them as .pps (and the notes as .pdf)

The Story of Spaceflight talk might need to be tweaked as I can't remember if I've a slide transition set (it was originally set up to run on a TV screen at Dunsink Observatory open nights).

For those not familiar with Powerpoint, if you can't open the PPT files, there is a free Powerpoint Viewer on the Microsoft website...

When you open the file, press F5 to go into screenshow (fullscreen) mode, then use the spacebar or cursor right button to advance the slides, the left button will go backwards.

if you've already seen some of the preentation and want to start in fullscreen mode from a specific slide, select (single-click) that slide from the thumbnails on the left, then press Shift+F5 to start in screenshow mode starting with that slide.
