Just wondering has the new education officer said anything about the book situation in the library. It's one thing to not replace books that have gone missing, but it's an entirely different situation when the Library don't bother to update the database to indicate that certain books are missing, despite being aware of this fact.

I know he's sitting exams right now, doesn't technically start work until the 1st of July, but I'll tweet him and let him know you asked.

The new Education Officer is Shane Comer. He's just finishing 3rd year and is doing his exams at the moment... everything errlloyd said was fairly self-explanatory tbh.

The library database system is in the process of being changed over to a new system.it will be the same one as is in trinity and that's going into dit. No kore.awful catalogue, but it ha probably put a stop to that sort of maintenance for a bit. There's a lot work involved in changing systems, ain't cheap either.
