Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

who actually makes the decision on how much the award should be for the injuried person when the independent doctor/specialist sends in there report to the pib???
How long does it take them to calculate the award?
Is it ex-claim handlers from insurance companys ????

Don't have answer for all your questions...... but I believe the typical running time (from point when liability is accepted/not disputed by respondent) is 7.2 months at present. That is until proposed reward then naturally more time elapses. Respondent has 21 days to say yes/no, claiment has 28 days to say yes or no then once agreed I believe (open to correction) respondent has 21 days to settle? I'm hazy on this number though.

When you say "independent doctor/specialist" I presume you mean the injuries board appointed doctor/specialist?
