Will this work as a tattoo?

    Hi would love to have this done on my upper arm and am just wondering will it work as a tattoo.

    With some modification it could.
    As it stands, it's designed for the black background. Try swapping out the background for white and see how it looks.

    I have one on my back very similar. In fact almost identical to the bird itself minus the surround!;)

    I think you have to change the color combination then only it will look good.

    I think the artist may have to alter the bottom part a little too, (the "metal"-looking part under the bird).

    The lines in that part seem very close together and may very well blend over time giving a dark mass instead of tight, defined lines which are crucial to the piece.

    He/she may well want to separate and re-design them a little to avoid this happening in the future.
