    I was going to start a thread asking whether any politicians are known alcoholics and am wondering whether it would be locked.

    It would be reasonable to have any fears about defamation.

    So can I start the thread?

    I was curious after watching an episode of the west wing, I didnt think of the damage it could do on a personal level.
