The Merrion Inn was mentioned before by Joe as an 'RTE pub' wasn't it?

As a follow up to the above, I'm happy to say that myself and tbh have patched things up...
After all, Caiman... no man is an island... :D:D .. I'm sure you've never heard that one before..

    Thanks for that :)

top three things people say when they hear my name:

    1: As in the Islands?

2: Imagine your second name was "McGee"

    3: Damien?

It'd be worse if your first name was Ulick! :D

A journalist was murdered on Camden St on Saturday night, so a taxi driver rings in and Joe will have him on discussing that the Gardai spend too much time clamping down on them and not the real criminals.

Also there were people drinking alcohol at the Westlife concert on Saturday night and some of them drank too much. Man rings in to complain to Joe.

    Very sad story.

It's certainly a sad story but the taxi drivers claim about a decline in values and rise in crime is nonsense

Joe, what drugs are all these guys on? It must be something far worse than anything you'd get in a head shop.

You can come to my town and see it every night of the weekend. They won't intervene because generally there are only two of them and back-up might be an hour away.

typical liveline caller. come on, make statement, then say somebody told me when challenged.

If you ever listen to Joe he will tell you that Westlife are one of the greatest bands ever to come out of this country, wonderful wonderful lads and a credit to the country etc etc etc.......... not much chance bad news about one of them owing a load of ordinary country tradespeople a pile of cash will be on the radio.

If someone does get through they'll be dealt with pretty sharply in the traditional Liveline manner.

Dont you remember the entire Tipp Town item on Liveline a few years ago? The guards couldn't give a flying fúck until it makes the newspapers.
