They worked on the fill-um of the century for nothing.....I'd bet if the dole offered them a real job they'd probably be out marching in protest.

Someone ask the french if we can borrow their guillotine.
Ask a Nazi if you can borrow his revolver.

    "Or eliminate them"

    That sounded a bit sinister.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,090 ✭✭✭RadioRetro

Totally lost with this item. "Eliminate them"? Bit harsh.

Did Simon Coveney say (on the news bulletin there) that he was trying to get his point across at the Fisheries Council.....Christ!! that must have been painful. If he came across at the meeting as he has been when on radio recently...."ahm, eh, ahm, can we ahm, ahm have, ahm more cod, eeh, ah and eh, ahm, a few rock ahm, salmon, ahm"

Come to think of it they probably gave him everthing he was looking for if he did. :D

Two things came to mind when I saw that.....

    1. Juan Sheet

    2. Clay Davis from The Wire :)

Just when you think the season couldn't get any better.

I missed Liveline when it was live yesterday and just listening to the late night repeat now.

15 minutes in and I can't believe my ears.

I never knew God was a Man City fan.
(He must have changed his colours recently because he's done fúckall for them in the last 44 years).

    Miracle my ass.

Millions of babies starving in Africa, but the God Joe Duffy prays to is the one that fixes football matches.

This has to be some kind of sick wind up. Where the hell is Metter gorjy anyway?
