    OK, now he's losing me.....

Didn't think he was/is in the least bit sensational!

    Ryanair bashing Joe :)

edit: Heidi, sorry I shouldn't have used that word and took it out - obviously not in time - just find he's being somewhat convoluted at best.

Far be it from me to agree with any of the conspiracy theory loonies that pop up on Liveline every now and then, but I find myself agreeing with this one. The "ah sure it's fine, isn't that the way it always was" attitude is what's got us into the mess we're in.

And he's not in the least bit hysterical, in fact is very measured and reasonable about it - most unusual! Compare and contrast to the taxi driver from yesterday's debacle

I admit to not giving this 100% of my attention but he seems to be unable to even explain this himself. The reality is most airports fail these inspections, and they are rarely high risk issues - according to Aviation Expert on Newstalk yesterday.

Joe's getting a bit of relief here for his law and order fetish. He really needs something where the classic bingo question pops up - "did anyone call the guards ?"

I thought he was perfectly clear - about the first problem anyway...

What's this guy's beef? No idea what he's on about.

This other Joe is a security anorak. JD might have him on speed dial for future installments of this sort of thing.

I suspect Joe No. 2 may be a disgruntled former Dublin Airport Authority employee....

    "Am I worrying unnecessarily?"
"Are you a Lahv Lahn listener?"
    "Yes"
"Well then worrying unneccessarily is one of your hobbies"

As best as I can make out, he's worried that having to be re-screened at "skeeepool" (due to the current DAA balls-up) will delay him from being able to make a connecting flight from Schipol.

"I presume thanks to Joe Murphy's call you'll be checked at every regional airport"

Even by your standards of self-congratulation Joe that's a big stretch.
