I didn't actually realise a penalty was given in that game, albeit to Monaghan. But surely, if there was any truth in this at all, they wouldn't be so stupid to go ahead with it after being informed before the games by the managers that there were queries into it!!

Nice ties made in the EA Sports Cup draw.

    Sligo Rovers v Derry
    Drogheda v Dundalk
    Pats v Shams
    Bray v Limerick

Some nice goals in the GOTM competition.

UCD's second and Sligo's third at the weekend were very well worked goals. Dundalk very unlucky not have got a peno at 2:2.

Derbies galore!!!!! There's no point turning up to your match, Oatesy. Derry win League Cups the way Pat's don't win FAI Cups!!

Im not sure if you're joking or not, my sarcasm detector never runs properly on the internet but just on the off chance you're not...

    - Still have a huge mountain of debt.
    - Your assets are falling in value faster
    - Your debt is increasing
    - Good team this year, wont finish in the bottom two/three on performance, chance of a deduction though.
    - Your attendances have by your own fans admission, steadily declining.
    - Sponsorship is in decline too
    - While you are in Europe, you wont be next season or the following season, meaning no chance for a big pick up. Doubt there will be any progression this season either.
    ....etc.

On the plus side, you could be Galway...who are argueably in a worse position.

True but we've reduced our costs and still have assets to cover our debts.

So is every other asset in the country. We budget accordingly

No it isn't. We're budgeting to make a small profit this year.

Not too sure what you mean here.

Since when? 2003? I can't remember a perceptible drop in crowd attendances since Farrelly took over. Crowd averages this year and last year will probably be pretty similar to 2010. We still have 600 or so members and 250 ST holders. Not a bad fanbase!

We have just signed a major deal with DHL and we have some great sponsors on board too. Yes it is declining, like our income, but so is our expenditure!

We didn't budget for Europe this year iirc. Any Europe money this year is a bonus!

There's no doubt Galway, who've been stripped of their license, are in a worse state that us!

So this was the "crowd" in Terryland Park on Friday. 61 people. Of which, at the most, half of them actually paid in.

A maximum of €300 taken on the gate. In reality it wouldn't even be that much.

    Brilliant altogether.

What's the lol for? Dalymount is worth more than all our debts together

As BOHtox has explained already most of it but I'll give my opinion.

We have a mountain of debt but Dalymount still has more value.Aswell Zurich said a few months ago they won't wind the club up instead they'll look for the best deal!

Dalyers value may decrease but it'll rise again

What do you mean by chance of deduction? Being relegated for financial reasons?

Our attendances and sponsorship have decreased but so has everybodys elses. As Bohtox said we've signed a decent deal with DHL and our worst league crowd this season was 1300

We have a deal with Zurich, there is no rush whatsoever to sell to give them the best possible chance at a return.

    Re: Last Friday

Drawing 2-2 when 2-0 up is annoying. After conceding the penalty how many chances did Rovers have to go 3-1 up :(

Not expecting anything at the Showgrounds on Saturday.
