Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love the sound of heavy rain outside while I'm lying in bed. What would be your favourite sound?

Now would that be an inquisitive 'hmm' or a 'hmm' of acknowledgement?

I'm a fan of the sound that you get when you poor out almost all the boiled water in an electric kettle and then when you straighten the kettle back up the water spalshes down over the element and you get a gurgling 'gruubbblellegruusssurrbleshhuussshhhh' noise.

Similar to the sound of any hot metal being immersed in water like a sword being tempered or what have you but it's more basey and echoey and grumbly due to the acoustic properties of the kettle.

In fact I'm going off to boil the kettle right now just so I can hear it.

    *Grubbblellegruusssurrbleshhuussshhhh!!*

The slow and arduous sound of evolution, the sound of bread being dropped graciously from a window on a spring day for passing birds to nibble upon, the sound of Christians and Atheists exchanging wonderful opinions filled with mutual respect, the sound of politicians valiantly cooperating to overcome incredible hurdles and the lasting aftermath of generations to come chit chatting about their past victories.
