Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love the sound of heavy rain outside while I'm lying in bed. What would be your favourite sound?

A series of sounds really ... all within a few secs of each other ...

The ching and rattle of the fridge door closing ....
The schccssssshssssss as the bottle opener releases the gas ...
The hollow metallic-plastic sound as the top comes to rest on the counter ...
The noise as I drop the lid on the offending cap of the pedal bin ....
The squeak and slow exhalation of air from fav. chair as I rest my butt in it ...
The glug glug as I sip from my bottle ....
The roar of the crowd as a match with Ireland playing comes on the TV ...
The screech about 'shifting my lazy ass' and my turn to peel the spuds ...

    :)

    Bliss!

When it's quiet enough ie. little traffic going by the house sitting and listening to birds singing in the garden, particularly smaller birds such as robins, tits and finches.

Thunder, particularly on a rainy day. Makes you feel simultaneously really insignificant and really alive at the same time.

If you really listen nature makes the best sounds of all!

the sound of a perfect drive of a golf ball off the tee.

when an F1 car races by.

    opening a can.

when a golf ball drops into the hole.

    Pretty good.
Would modify the F1 car, to the scream of a grid full of F1 cars as the red lights go out at the start of a race.
