Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

why were you even in the field with track slip of 15%. the differences in fuel usage between working in proper conditions and inadequate conditions is enormous

Because i was told too, as you are well aware i'm sure slip on tracks is different to that on a wheeled tractor, 3-4 is the max usualy obtained. The ground had carrots in it winter beforehand and the previous tenant left it in an awful state so was left fallowed to breakdown somewhat but due to the drought in region the ground baked hard. Conditions were more than ideal just the sheer effort of the job in hand, the farms head driver managed to stall said machine twice in the toughest part. Was a crazy thing to see been done.
