Unusual situation - advice needed

I'm in a very unusual situation.

I've just been given a permanent job for 3-4 years.

I basically work my own hours (I'm my own boss) and am pretty well paid (I appreciate how lucky I am!).

I've no mortgage or debt. I've a good family and great girlfriend.

I want to do something else over this 4 year period (learn a new skill, develop myself).

I was considering doing something random like building a boat from scratch, but I thought I'd come on here first for ideas.

Any suggestions?

Good call! I do a lot of work with cars already - I'd like to do something different.

I've done that before.

I might take up Yoga or similar I guess.

Do a part-time degree in Irish, that's what I'd do if I had extra time / money.

Pick up mountain biking! Great hobby, gets you out and stuck into the mud, good exercise and a great laugh and adrenaline rush

Without offending you, that is the single least likely degree I would ever do, or in fact support anyone doing. but its just my opinion.
