Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Oh jesus, nearly had a heart attack.

Just got a work mobile phone and was putting some apps/games on it all harmess and free and then got nosey and went to preview an app called Tile Girl and the effin started downloading, with a cost of €0.99

Couldn't stop it even with turning off the phone.

Major panic stations as I thought the item would appear on my employers bill, in other words P45 for me.

Thank god I went back after uninstalling it and figured out I had clicked 'Try' instead of 'buy'

Is there anything worse than that feeling when the blood drains from your head when you think you've made the booboo to end all booboos

Why would that get you sacked?

When you fart and you are convinced you followed thru, waddle to the nearest toilet to avoid smear and inspect your jocks to find you didn't!

All the emotions right there, the "Oh no" feeling, then nerves as you make your way for inspection, then the "Oh yes, 1-0, get in" as you discover a lack of a little tea stain on your Dunnes finest!

Surely your employers only pay for calls/data and apps are tied to your personal account?

Email sensitive client information to the wrong client.

I honestly didn't know it was possible to come across in such a cold sweat and be struck by such a fear as I was that day

Why would u be looking at things like this on a work phone???

You certainly wouldn't do the same on a work computer.

I used to always be lending out my work phone to the boys in the factory when they had no credit and the likes, i make a ton of calls on it so it's not like it would be noticed - untill one of the fúckers decided to ring a premium rate number of dubious content. Needless to say that one was noticed and i had to embarrrasingly explain it away. Luckily the boss accepted i wouldn't be stupid enough to ring a sex line from a work phone, but it's still a conversation i would have rather not had.
Now they can walk to the shop and buy credit or wait till they get home to talk to the missus - fúcking idiot whoever it was!

I had a couple of things like that at work, where I probably turned green. I think there was one time I deleted a whole table in a database, but luckily it was the test db and we had a back up anyway so meh.
